New print arrival! My newest artist print arrival is a piece I had revamped from a couple years ago. The print contains an excerpt from my “Summer of 2016” artist book, referencing “Clean (08022022).” Stay tuned on more updates on this and other products on my Instagram!

This weeks featured favs✨ My ghost print and heavy-ink linoprints🖤 the design was really fun to create and carve and although I suffered millions of tiny splinters in my hand because I was determined to use a compressed wood block which was basically dried wood pulp, it came out wonderfully😂

Another week, another weekly favorite🫶🏼 This week’s feature is none other than my “The Summer of 2016” artist poetry book✨ This book is a piece I had been working on for quite some time and so it a something I am still very proud of because I put so much into it. It quite literally is the introductory piece to my written works and was a doorway to learning how to express the things I kept to myself. I had wonderful mentors who helped me learn how to share what I wrote and helped me see the power of sharing your own stories with others. So, in addition to this being a piece that helped inspire me, I hope it inspires those who own it,too. And I hope it serves as a reminder that nothing is too ugly, scary, or complex to share. Your people are out there.❣️

I remember a few years ago when I was still studying, I had a professor who said my project was unrealistic because there was no way I’d actually use the furniture that was part of my installation, in my real life. The person was super pretentious and so I just laughed it off but, every once in a while, I can’t help but laugh thinking about what they said😂 So, here’s a reminder that not every critique you receive, is actually constructive or valid🤷🏻‍♀️ Now keep doing you🖤
