Happy Turkey Sale Day! I hope you enjoyed your holiday and although it is rooted in colonization, the exploitation of a marginalized ethic group, and marked the beginning of a heartbreaking history, I choose to focus on the first part of the name we’ve been taught to recognize this holiday as. Gratitude and being thankful has always been something I choose to celebrate each and every day. With Thanksgiving being so close to the end of the year, I think it provides the best opportunity to look back and consider all that has happened in this year so far.
